Donald Trump minimizes the impact that the Russian ads had in helping him to win, and claims that Facebook was really supporting Hillary Clinton.

Yeah how can people say that the Russian attempts to undermine our democracy was such a big deal when they spent such a piddly amount of money?

After all Clinton spent a lot more money using actual legal contributions, so wasn't she also cheating?

P.S. It should be noted that Russians not only spent money on Facebook, but also on Twitter and other social media outlets, as well as to finance rallies and protests in America in the lead up to the election.

We actually do not yet know exactly how much they spent, but it has to be in the millions of dollars.

The question to ask is "What did they hope to buy with all that money?"

Bottom line - Trump sold out our country to Russia - which he is trying so damn hard to dismiss. Gather and organize to assure he does not hold office a second term. Hopefully, he'll quit or be impeached before we get to 2020!

Remember before the election when he said the voting was rigged? That was when he thought he'd lose.
Now, when it's being shown that it was rigged and he won,
he can't run away fast enough.

Donald Trump revokes visa of key witness who testified against him in Trump-Russia scandal‬

Donald Trump appears to have a new strategy in his Trump-Russia scandal: finding ways to punish those who testify against him. Hermitage CEO Bill Browder – a British citizen – delivered devastating testimony to Congress, explaining that there was no doubt as to the collusive nature of Donald Trump Jr’s meeting with Russian government representatives during the election. Now the Trump administration has revoked Browder’s visa, effectively banning him from the United States, even as Russia has issued a fraudulent warrant for his arrest.

Browder tweeted the following today: “Not only did Putin add me to the Interpol list, but the US simultaneously revoked my visa.” He then added “It happened on the same day as the Russians issued their 5th Interpol arrest warrant for me.” This prompted Michael McFaul, the former U.S. Ambassador to opine that “This is outrageous,” calling on Trump to walk back the decision. Former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara added “Seconded.”

This move represents perhaps Donald Trunp’s most blatantly illegal move to date when it comes to his ongoing attempts at obstructing justice. Browder has already testified, and Trump can’t undo that. But he appears to be trying to intimidate future potential witnesses by making an example out of Browder. Considering Vladimir Putin’s penchant for killing political dissidents, Trump may have just put Browder’s life in danger.

Republicans Are Broke And Terrified That A Democratic Wave Is Coming To Take Over The House

Things are looking dire for House Republicans as a slew of incumbent retirements, poor fundraising, and a wave of strong Democratic challengers are all combining to point to a Democratic 2018 tidal wave that could take over the House.

    National Journal reported:
House Republicans are growing increasingly alarmed that some of their most vulnerable members aren’t doing the necessary legwork to protect themselves from an emerging Democratic tidal wave. In some of the biggest media markets, where blockbuster fundraising is a prerequisite for political survival—most notably in New York City, Los Angeles, and Houston—Republican lawmakers aren’t raising enough money to run aggressive campaigns against up-and-coming Democrats.

House GOP Fears Wave in 2018 as Money Woes Grow

The odds of Nancy Pelosi becoming speaker again are rising as Republican donors show frustration over the party’s stalled agenda on Capitol Hill.

...Of the 53 House Republicans facing competitive races, according to Cook Political Report ratings, a whopping 21 have been outraised by at least one Democratic opponent in the just-completed fundraising quarter. That’s a stunningly high number this early in the cycle, one that illustrates just how favorable the political environment is for House Democrats.

The third-quarter fundraising reports paint a gloomy picture for many Republicans. Rep. Steve Knight of California raised only $144,000 in the last three months, less than the total of two lesser-known Democratic challengers. Veteran Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen of New Jersey brought in only $154,000—just over one-third the amount of his leading Democratic rival, retired Navy helicopter pilot Mikie Sherrill. In the Houston area, Rep. John Culberson, who typically doesn’t face competitive races, raised only $172,000 in a Democratic-trending district that backed Hillary Clinton last year.

The list goes on: Rep. Dana Rohrabacher of California, under scrutiny over his unseemly ties to Russia, was outraised by a highly touted challenger and has only $600,000 in the bank. Rep. Claudia Tenney of New York saw her leading opponent raise twice as much money she did; even her Republican predecessor, former Rep. Richard Hanna, donated to the Democratic challenger. Rep. Leonard Lance of New Jersey brought in less than $200,000 in the quarter and has less than a half-million in cash on hand in a district where advertising is prohibitively expensive.

“They’re not where we want them to be. People want to see legislative movement. Donors want something done; they want tax reform done. What will affect things is if there’s progress on the president’s agenda,” said one House Republican official.

Money doesn’t always translate to victory, but the sheer number of House Republicans struggling to adequately prepare for difficult reelection campaigns—combined with the historic amount brought in by little-known Democratic candidates—points to an ominous political environment ahead for Republicans.

Joy Reid: There’s ‘something dark’ about Trump’s delusions that should concern us all

...O’Brien talked about the counterfeit Renoir painting that Trump refuses to accept is not a genuine original. For a while it hung on the wall aboard his private plane but is now proudly displayed in his penthouse apartment in Trump Tower.

“I think he’s a serial liar,” O’Brien said. “We know he’s a profound narcissist. One of the things he does through his lies, Joy, is he creates these alternate realities for himself. He will say something that is false repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly until I think not only is he lying to his audience, to a certain extent he lies to himself in order to get things over on the people around him and also to insulate himself from any sense of responsibility or guilt for the damage he causes when he misrepresents things.”

Reid agreed and said that Trump is a “fabulist” who is compelled to surround himself with a false conception of luxury, “but when you scratch the gold paint, it’s just paint.”

The fake Renoir is “a funny story,” Reid said, “but there’s something about it that’s a little bit dark — that this is the president of the United States with tremendous power, the power to start a nuclear war…Does that concern you, this kind of dangerous narcissism?”

“Your fucking doctor has ruined me!” Trump cried.

What followed was a “violent assault,” according to Lost Tycoon. Donald held back Ivana’s arms and began to pull out fistfuls of hair from her scalp, as if to mirror the pain he felt from his own operation. He tore off her clothes and unzipped his pants.

“Then he jams his penis inside her for the first time in more than sixteen months. Ivana is terrified… It is a violent assault,” Hurt writes. “According to versions she repeats to some of her closest confidantes, ‘he raped me.’”

Following the incident, Ivana ran upstairs, hid behind a locked door, and remained there “crying for the rest of night.” When she returned to the master bedroom in the morning, he was there.

“As she looks in horror at the ripped-out hair scattered all over the bed, he glares at her and asks with menacing casualness: ‘Does it hurt?’”

"Smith considered General Michael Flynn, at that time a campaign adviser to Donald Trump, an ally."
"In a document he used to recruit others in his mission to obtain the Clinton emails, he listed Trump campaign officials Steve Bannon , Kellyanne Conway, and Michael Flynn. He said he was working with the officials “in coordination to the extent permitted as an independent expenditure.” he wanted me to help validate whether or not the emails were genuine,” wrote Tait."
"Smith set up a company in Delaware, KLS Research, to “avoid campaign reporting” - i.e. to avoid laws requiring political campaigns to make public what they spend their money on. “This document was about establishing a company to conduct opposition research on behalf of the campaign, but operating at a distance so as to avoid campaign reporting. Indeed, the document says as much in black and white,”
"A sheaf of documents, including a statement police called a suicide note, in which Smith declared he was ill and his insurance policy was expiring, lay next to his body. Medical records list his cause of death as asphyxiation."if this dark web contact is a front for the Russian government, you really don’t want to play this game. But they were not discouraged," They appeared to be convinced of the need to obtain Clinton’s private emails and make them public, and they had a reckless lack of interest in whether the emails came from a Russian cut-out. Indeed, they made it quite clear to me that it made no difference to them who hacked the emails or why they did so, only that the emails be found and made public before the election.""
